Ultimate Silver with colour coded skirts

Just saw this today and think that this colour is absolutely stunning with smoked wheels and colour coded skirts, dont think this colour has been posted with colour coding before - I'm certainly very tempted by it now. Anyone got a picture of DMG with colour coding?

I agree it does look good........I hope it won't be too expensive if it gets offered as an optional extra!

Pity that the paint match on the skirting is not that good. Otherwise, that is definitely the way to go.

You dont always get exactly the same shade when plastic is painted compared to metal ,even when you use the same paint ,but since you have a distingtive line between the two sections of skirting and car it looks fine .Yes that does look good colour coded ,in white it looks not so good imo .

I dont like it

The black makes the car look shorter more low down and aggressive, all one colour it looks like a fat lump, especially from the back where its now got a massive ass.

Just my opinion of course.

I like very much and I just have decided to paint all some months ago. I don't know if is an optional or if I must make the work in private. My GT-R will arrive in may 2009, red color.
Regards

I'm still undecided!

I think this works on some colours, and not on others.

I think that there is the reason for those skirts being black painted...and that reason is - scratches and dirt!!
As the car is pretty low, it is obvious that sooner or later you will touch the road or something on the road...if you have the skirts painted, scratches and dirt would be much more noticable...
Porsche 911 turbo has black skirts too...
I have factory painted skirts and whole bumpers on my present car (silver) and it is pain in the ass to maintain...I actually like the fact that GTR doesn't have the skirts painted!!

Dear SuzaFan, I have now a Carrera S in yellow color, and also skirts are painted in yellow from Porsche. no one modification from me. Yes ok, a little more work for wash the car but no other problem.

I think it looks fantastic in white. Would like to see a better picture of this car, think the picture is not great. I am tempted.
