How not to get to JAE

I will post the other drunken pictures to the members gallery

Diesel into GTR's does not go!

Nice garage name

OK I'm a idiot, a bit jet lagged stopped to top off the tank at dirty BP station and stuck Diesel in the tank not Super.....

I didn't start the car

It will go on trailer as long as you use some wood

Green flag came out and drained both tanks (access under the rear seats) a nice 125 quid + VAT and new tank of petrol but I made JAE, a little late.

thx to perfect touch for being on standby in case green flag could not do it.

Ouch! Well, at least you got it sorted mate!

Hope it didn't cause any noticeable immediate damage?

I did that, except the other way round, stuffed my ex Polo TDi full of Super Unleaded at BP! (except this Muppet drive it up the road, then sat there turning it over for 5 min before I figured what I did! lol)

You can put Diesel in to a petrol car, 1/4 was used as a decoke in the old days. No I was taking no chances and there was a lot of super in anyway. They took out 50L with about 15L of Diesel. I saw it was empty, its not missed a beat since, thank god.

Its so easy to do.....

Nice to meet you, I will post some nighttime pic soon

I hate BP, the R33 prefers tesco 99 or Shell anyway

I am glad you made it to JAE and sorry that we did not have more time to chat. Certainly the R35 created a lot of interest from other clibs and it was great to see you there. Sorry that I did ot have more time to chat to you and Memsaab.

that's a bummer mate. thank god you realized and didn't start the engine.

while you were looking at the fuel tanks, did you see what kind of insulation was around there? the rear seats get very warm...

Glad to see you both got back safely.

We stopped just outside london on the way home for fuel and 2 people were talking about the mishap at the pumps
