the R35 went in limp mode. basically it overheated. or something like that.
it looks like it was a hot day and they didnt let the car cool down long enough between races. plus the first gen R35 oil coolers are a huge problem. i belive they are fixed since, but they really need an upgrade for track racing. alot of people with first gens are finding this out. some say it just get so close the going into limp mode, but havent (i belive timechaser said something about it). and cobb tuning had to add annother oil cooler to fight overheating. |

you know what they like to do, such as the previous gtr vs the world race the lambo gallardo had clutch problem, so the next show will become "revenge of lambo etc". Lets wait for the next "revenge of GTR"!

honda already cleared up all those reasons. they just cant do it. the choice they have now is a much better design for supercar. the nsx was nearly at its limits (tho we know from aftermarket world, that it was far from its limits, yes... but manufactures have to limit to certain degree due to wide array of customers.
anyways, the heat issues should be fixed in new revisions of the r35. even so, if its hot out and your pounding on the car, its going to need additional cooling. these guys drive the cars fast and hard and they did multiple laps in it... i wouldnt doubt it was stressed alot more than the rest. |
