Thumbs up Shuffle Problems

a thing of the past...

Or at least we hope so.

Twin turbo pipe mod for under £100

Will be fitting this to the new custom stroked RB27 N1 block running HKS GTRS's build next week but it would benefit many with Lag/shuffle issues. Actually, I am not sure if it will improve things on the lag front but I'll bet someone does.

Anyway pics for info...

I have my "twin turbo" pipe modified in the same way. I have a little bit of shuffle on my motor (GT block, Tomei 2.8, GT Rs's) but nothing to write home about.

There is a thread on this forum about ther benefits of this mod. Have a search

I heard claims off upto 8 hp more over the rpm range and less shuffle. I have a modded "twin turbo" pipe laying around to go on my stage 1 GTR too, I'll let you guys know as soon as I get around to fitting it

Can you buy pre modded pipes anywhere or is it a DIY job?

Mook, I was speakin to scott about it a few months back and we were all set to go....then it all went crackers at work and i've not had 2 mins to stop.
I'm back on track now though and itching to go. Got a few parts ready to roll......so just need to get sorted with the gtr shop.
price will be very attractive on an exchange basis.

Ian

well I'm contemplating making a modified pipe - and I don't even get shuffle!!! however, PFC & some other mods on the way so it may be a problem in the near future....

can get a 2nd hand pipe for NZ$65 and would cost a fiver for the alloy sheet tops and can do the welding and other fab myself - so a cheap bit of insurance

mine developed massive shuffle last year on the way back from Germany. really weird if i'm honest. it's come and gone a bit since then, but i cant afford a remap so this sort of mod will be worthwile, and inexpensive.

when i get one i'll post the results
