i want to uprate my turbos - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

hello.
at the moment im running 471.6 BHP and 1.1bar boost.
im looking to break the 500 mark but dont know wot turbos to get.
il find out next week wot turbos i have wen my hks bovs are fitted.
any ideas educated ideas ????

HKS 2530's would be the way to go or the Garrett equivilant , depends how you want your power to come in , best advice for you is to have search in the turbo section there is lots of info ....

If you're engine is a 2.6 you may find that the 2530s not suitable, they are better adapted to the 2.8s.

GT-SS's if you want driveability and response, have the potential to go to 550hp if combined with the right other mods.

Or garrett equivalents.

Hks2530 full boost from 4.500 to 8.200 rpm. Very good response and high power with stock internals (near 600ps). I used also the gt-ss in the past, but in my opinion with the right cams the 2530, and other bits, are much better.
