BRAKE DISCS

Whats the biggest size discs that can be installed whilst retaining the stock Brembo's on a 33?? Also what is the mounting measurement for the bells?? is it 215mm. I've been offered a pair of AP racing discs 332x32, bell mounting distance is 215mm, will they fit??, thanks.

I've narrowed down the choice of brakes I'll be fitting to my car to either the Stoptechs or the AP 6 pots. It'll be the complete kit, so which one's do I go for?? opinions please. For's and against's for these two please, thanks.

There was a post a few days ago saying how the Stoptecs were better.

Those AP discs sound a bit small, Pupsi. I've got a set lying in the garage so will try to remember to check for you're still considering them. I think they're around 340-350mm diameter, but not sure of mounts.

I think AP did a kit for the 32 and early 33 GTR with 343mm discs (not sure of the exact size - may be 345/349 etc! - again I have the info at home somewhere), and then changed to a newer caliper/disc combo. I've not heard of 332mm for the GTR in my limited experience!

332 does sound small for a GT-R. AP used to do a 315 kit for the 32 I think. 33 & 34 kits are now 343 or 356 fronts and 330 rears.

I have 6 pot 362mm fronts and 4 pot 330mm rears on my 33 and they're very very good. I don't have shite AP discs on the front though.
