Bigger Discs for R32
Hi guys
Does anyone know where I can buy a conversion kit so I can go up to 330mm discs on the front of my R32? as I think the standard calipers are quite meaty and similar in size to the Brembos so I dont see why they shouldn't perform as well!? Thanks in advance Alex

I`ve never heard of anyone doing that before, most just buy second hand Brembo`s.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
People are saying on here that standard brakes with ds2500 pads are not that bad so I thought that with 330mm discs they should be much better!! I have seen a kit for the r33 gts (that uses similar calipers to the 32gtr) convert to 330mm discs. what thickness are R33GTR discs?? are they 32mm same as R32? Im starting to think that im gona have to have somthing made.

I'd go for second hand Brembos from Vspec or R33 or R34 GTR, refresh them, put some good discs and pads and have fun, best bung for a buck if you ask me.
What do you want to use the car for ? DD or track ? Stock calipers are good for every Nissan other then Skyline ![]() |

Most other nissans don't weigh 1460kg either.
32 gtr is at 296mmx32mm. 32gtr brembo is 324mmx30mm. 33 & 34 gtr 324mmx30mm. ok, price. A set of 324mm discs and adapters would be around the au$800 mark. A set of 33 or 34 brembos would be closer to 2k+. Is there a measurable difference between 324mm discs and sumitomos with adapters compared to 33 or 34 brembos? According to some knowledgable people on sau not really, but would be very receptive to what you people think. Would it be better to skip the 33 or 34 brembo package and go straight to a 330mm g4 or d2 kit? Again hearing good things about this kit from people who actually race these things, with the sweetner that it is the same price or cheaper than what is being asked for 33 or 34 secondhandies. I seem to have made up my mind on what I will go to, as I need to replace all discs due to wear. 324mm and adapters with the sumitomos should give me the best bang for buck I feel, that is my personal opinion though, and only as a result of considering my requirements. discussion? |
