Myself & Barrie from DCY, John begley & Tweenie Rob @tr racing went across the waters this weekend to compete in The Irish Time Attack at Mondello Park.
We took the DCY EVO7 RS & John took the R32 Taisan Skyline.

Had an awesome weekend, cracking company, the Irish were all friendly & nice. Barrie finished 3rd in the EVO which is a very good result and was less than half a second of the lap record and for me the best exit onto the pit straight with a full on 4 wheel power drift

. John times improved all day and you could see him getting more & more from the car overtime he went out, some nice angle too

Luckily we found a cracking hotel, which had (so same Kerr told me) Ireland’s best nightclub attached to it. John, you’re the man, still up partying with me at 2am on the first night

. I have plenty of stories.........

The sea was so rough the first ferry we booked onto was cancelled. so we had to wait around from 8am till 2.30pm to sail. It had to be my worst ferry ride ever, the amount of people walking, lying, hanging about with white bags in there hands

After the last 48hours of solid rain it was nice to see someshine at the track.

We shared our garage with SamKerr who runs in UK TA. Cracking set of lads and was happy to be sharing with Sam & Co.
