Ok, i have a pre-ordered black edition r35 delivery in may 2009,£3500 deposit paid. Looking to sell my position due to buying new family home,[wife] So needs to go.

Not sure if you will be able to sell your position as I think Nissan will only supply to the name on the original order so you may have to buy the Car and sell it in May I'm sure you'll have plenty of takers (should make a few quid) or cancel your order and try and get your deposit back although if you've been on the Track Day they may want to charge you for that

Might be worth approaching dealer though might get more money to hang on (though higher risk)

Sorry to sound completely dumb but what is a HPC?

I have been told by the thread starter that he has not signed the contract yet and has until the end of the month to do so, is it still not possible to transfer or put my name down?

it is very possible to put your name down for a car, what is not possible is changing someones order into your name!
give one of us HPC's a call, any of the specialists will be more than happy to give you the info you need!

Failing that, the guys on this forum are pretty clued up too!

and to clarify, you are aware that the supposed 'May' car you are being offered (sorry, but I hear this on a daily basis) will not have sat nav or bluetooth phone prep?

Not a huge issue (depending on your needs) but something you should be aware of!?!?

if you want to put your name down you can do so by contacting a dealer directly or by going to: https://secure.gtrnissan.com/preorder.en.uk.html If you go the online route you will still need to select a dealer.
