buy my d jetro! :-p brand new not used!
well ive heard good things about the power fc and the d jetro. so id vote for either of them! hks fcon is a better ecu but much more costly to buy and map etc

I`d go for HKS Fcon V Pro as its 32 bit compared to the apexi 16 bit. Therefore its more acurate and it`ll be more fuel efficent.

I would think this type of question should be discussed and choose with your TUNER or person who will do mapping for your car and not owners around.
I would answer F-CON V PRO would be the best but if your TUNER is good with Power FC than better to go with POWER FC. I am not saying it's wrong to ask here but just seeing few specs wouldn't tell exactly what your car is like and how you drive your car and if you need to keep AFM or not. So, I am sure people would just answer, what they like--------like I did. From just the spec, I would say regular Power FC should be a good to go. |

I voted for Rising suns custom remappable ecu as i have just had mine done. It uses your standard ecu but by fitting an extra board it allows them to remap it. This alone saves a fair bit of cash, as you dont have to fork out for an aftermarket one. I also had a greddy profec b spec 2 boost controller fitted and set up, now with it turned off i make 309 bhp, turn it on low(0.8b) i get 339 bhp and turn it high(1.0b) it makes 402. Before i had the remap and boost controller fitted it was making 334 bhp and hitting the limiter, When the ecu was remapped they also removed the limiter
so the power gains are good.Mods to my car's engine are nismo down pipes decat apexi exhaust apexi dual cone intake greddy profec b spec 2 rsp custom remapped ecu -this is still able to be remapped again at a later date if i decide to go for more mods and will be cheaper to remap as all the soldering is already done ![]() as said by global auto i would have a chat with your tuner as they would be able to advise you on what route to take depending on how you want to tune your car. Isn't Rising Suns a Nistune board?
I thought this would be a decent upgrade as I figure you have all the benefits of a power fc but with added consult and knock control. Or am I speaking out of my behind? ![]() After my rebuild I will get Rising Sun to install the board and map it then get the cable and software (£140) so I can monitor what's happening. Also means I can get two maps done for economy and power. |

I would go for HKS as they have a better resolution map, so the car will run better and less chance of det, And as its a piggy back it retains the facility to change the timing unlike the Power FC

With respect, he hasnt asked everyone to list every aftermarket ecu that is available for the GTR

PFC is good. only real question would be afm or no afm, and in that case that would dictate which model to use. Being plug and play and being very common, I would say go pfc, Everyone knows how to tune with one. If you live somewhere where you may drive the car in high altitudes stay with AFM otherwise get rid of them. Put some 700cc injectors and a 044 or similar (not walbro) and wake those -5's up. |
