Turbo Break In Peroid/Procedure

Is there such thing as "Break In Period" when you install a new turbo?

I know you break in a new build engine for the piston ring to sit properly, but Turbo don't have such things.

The long as you prime the turbo properly so you don't start the turbo with oil starvation, then everything should be fine, correct?

If I am wrong, please let me know.

make sure you fill the oil lines of the turbo and there is oil in the center section when you start the car for the first time. You will be good then.

So there is break in procedure then?
(using mineral oil, keep it low boost for a few hundred miles, etc?)

Make sure the bearing got plenty of oil, and you can start making big boost on the dyno and tune the turbo?

Not that i know of, its not like you`ve got to ease them in when they spin at 200,000rpm.

let it run at idle speed at 1st , then gently work the turbo for a few minutes , check for leaks and then off you go.

my opinon.
