CF Card Player - Compilation Folder
Dear all, been ripping loads of CDs in iTunes and copying them onto the CF card for the GTR, however, there is this problem that I cannot resolve. Whenever I have set an Album as Compilations in iTunes, the folder that holds these compilation albums will not show up on the GTR's CF player UI. I have tried moving these compilation folders directly under the root directory (just like a non-compilation CD), doesn't work neither.
Currectly using a Bluetooth transmitter + iTouch, but would prefer the CF option. Thanks in advance!! |

I've had this "problem" too.
Music donwnloaded from itunes are .m4p which will not show up on your CF card in the GTR. U need to convert it to mp3 format. Those that you "rip" from CDs should be no problem. |

Dear Blackmagic, those CDs that I have ripped are already in mp3 format, the only issue is, when you rip the CD, you can change the attributes of the songs before / after your rip, and if I leave the "Compilation CD" option as "No", they will play just fine, but if it is set to "Yes", they will not show up on the GTR's UI. I do have quite a fair bit of compilation CDs and if I leave the option as "No", it will be very annoying as each and every artist on this CD will be shown as an individual folder having the same album name. So instead of seeing a single album cover on cover flow, i will end up having a dozen identical album covers with different artist names. Imagining my library have over 100 Compilation CDs... that, will be a thousand album covers on cover flow...
Anyway, thanks for your help and suggestions. |
