everyone happy with your Split Fire Di ???

I always see many owners use these on their GT-R but don't hear their problems often like I have.

For about 2-3years, most of GT-R that comes with Split Fire Di have or starts to have ignition problem with them.

From my experience they are never friendly with F-Con V-Pro and always cause problems when mapping.
Having problem with all GT-R: R32, R33, R34 but I think R34 is worst.

All recent ignition problems with GT-R were all by them so that's first thing we check now days.

I guess they are good stuff when new but I feel STD ones are a lot better and reliable.

Personally never had any problems with Split Fires even if the car is running HKS Fcon, I think the standard coil packs are good enough for the job that’s why not a lot of people change them

IT all depends on what settings are in the Fcon Pro, they are good cheap replacements for worn std ones.

Run them on mine (Motec) & several friends GTR's & GTS's with out any issues at all, all cars running different managment (Motec, F-Con IS, F-Con V-Pro, Power FC & Mines) & several between 600-900Hp...

I would have thought if there were serious issues with them that there would have been a few threads/polls on the forum about them already, sure you know what were like on here...Everyone loves a good moan...LOL...

I use mine with a Power FC. I think they're fine, but since they were replacing old stock coilpacks, new OEM coilpacks would have yielded a positive difference as well.

Nonetheless, I've never had a misfire problem since using them. I finished off my "ultimate" ignition system with an HKS DLI ignition amp, and NGK surface-gap racing plugs.

I am very disappointed to splitfire di. I got poor spark when going to over 1,35bar of boost. I have NKG iridium sparkplugs with 0.65 tip. (667hp & apexi pfc)
