Nurburgring Trackday 15th Sept

Wow

Ive just returned from my GTR event with my Wife, had a Fantastic time

We stayed at the Dorint which was great, the room / the view of the Track / basically everything including the bar ...I think it was Jose bar anyway the one with plenty plenty to look at, Im glad we stayed at the Dorint for me it added to the whole experience the History of Nurburgring displayed everywhere and the atmosphere etc.
This is all a first for me .... Visit to Germany / Nurburgring / driving on a track / and of course driving the GTR the hospitality was great and the guest treatment was worth every penny I paid.... Thanks Nissan

I wont post my Video on U Tube because I didint stop Grinning / Laughing all through the events, so anyone expecting fast times from a fellow Pertrol head would be dissapointed ......I was so chuffed with it all and thouroughly enjoyed myself, Nissan in my opinion got the balance between competing having Fun / learning and seeing what the GTR can do... Spot On.

Thanks again Nissan a Great event with Great people plus met some real nice fellow owners to be

I also stayed in Dorint and would highly recommend it.

Also second everything you say regarding the event.

I'll have to edit out some of my grinning before posting the vids!!!

Here's some of my pics from the day including the damage to GTR no.23 (see 1st two pics)

You'll notice in the shot below that the GTR's rear wheel is in perfect order at the time of driver change on our road route. Its possible that it wasn't about 10 minutes later, not mentioning any names . . . . . . . Neil. ooops!

Great pics! Did you take those yourself?

Does anyone know when and how we get the official pics of the day? I'm guessing we'll get an email.

Some were taken by me (close ups) all the track/pits ones were taken by the misses from the hotel balcony using zoom lens! I believe our official pics will be sent by email.

dont drag me into your driving misdemeanours or I shall have to mention your past history...... your name is not bungle for nothing!

anyway, that kerb moved as a result of the torque from the GTR pulling the tarmac towards it, the germans should build sturdier roads.

Still torn too, whereas before Monday I was torn between Silver (as ordered) and white, I'm now torn between Silver and DMG (both with light wheels).

Chose White from day one and have now seen it under showroom lights i.e The Motorshow and was blown away by the colour aswell as the added bonus of the pearlescent effect and have seen it in day light and am not dissapointed, again the pearlescent showed up nice when quite close to the car, aswell as in a line up with the other colours it stood up to great colours like Black.

Easy really .........lol

Torn between DMG and Red. Only thing stopping me from Red is aftersales. Fallback would be DMG.

Before Mon was torn between White and Black. Found white too creamy in natural light and didn't like DMG and definitely not Titanium. Torn between Silver and Black now. Ordered black and will probably stick with that though. Will just have to keep the think clean.
