Very nice Ant . So this is what you do when you're not throwing yourself out of a perfectly usable aircraft.

6 brake should be at the FRONT of the wheel doh!
7 add bolts to wheel
8 add logo cap to centre of wheel (anyone know what the wheel is that I've modelled?)
9 adjust Vspec badge its just a flat polygon shape at the moment... can anyone tell me if its a sticker or an actual badge?
Looks great!

I think that you are right that the wheels are a bit big, it also looks to me like the wheelbase is a little short, which has shrunk the cab / front door etc.
The fuel cap needs to be a bit bigger and further forward. You are right that the GT badge should be red and white, and the V-Spec marking is a sticker!

hey guys I'm busy working on animation elements in the city at the moment - until they're done Its gonna be quiet on the animation front for the moment

In the meantime I thought I'd keep the thread alive with some studio-light style renders...

and I thought I'd try it in a white with dark chromy wheels style too... this is about the only time I've got the white paintwork to look effective too!

heres an update from last night... decided to try another colour scheme.

then I made the wheel a touch shorter and lowered the car too then added nuts and a centre cap to the wheel. I love the bronze metal effect on the alloy in these pics
