buying a gtr and taking it back to Denmark?

hi as i`m interested in buying a gtr.. most likely a r33 because of our stupid danish rules and taxes not an r34.
well i`ve been thinking alot about the MOT and so on and so on.. if ì buy one and take it with me, is it then possible to get it cheaper as i wont need those things? all i really need is the car and papers so i can get it to Denmark and get it taxed and on plates... OR??? sry but VERY new at this and just trying to find a way to get a gtr in my big warm garage.

can anyone please help me with info on what to do.
if any help i have some family in the UK..

best regard Sten Pedersen Denmark

sry for the bad spelling.

Let me know what you need to know and I'll help where I can, I plan to buy a 33gtr within the nextcouple of weeks, and might be moving to denmark in a few months, so maybe you could help me.

To drive a car in the uk it has to have a current mot, and I believe dealers have to supply cars with a current mot. I think you would be better off getting a car with a recent mot as it gives you an idea as to how it will get on when you register it in denmark.......and then you can pay the nice 90000kr or so reg tax...

Where in Denmark are you?

hi.
im living in jutland. near aarhus.

well to start with im not planning on getting it on plates in Denmark. well not for a while, as i plan to use it for doing 1/4 mile runs with it.. and then in a year or so get it on danish plates.. where are you going to live when you move to Denmark and WHY!??

where are you located in UK? and are there any good GTR`s near you?

Frederikshavn is where we might be moving, my Girlfriends family are there and she's been here ten years, it's only fair we give it a go there.

GTR wise, I'm currently looking, what kind of price are you looking at.... for a decent one with a reasonable level of modification, ie..turbo's intercooler suspension ecu exhaust...you will be looking at around £8500.(with 60-80,000miles on the clock)

If it's a r33 gtst you can pick up similar spec models for around £5000..

I'm planning on around £9000....

What do gtr's cost where you are?

well frederikshavn is a bit away from my place but still in reach.
i want a GTR so gtst and others are out of the picture.

about the price..... it depend on the car. i want a car with some mods to the engine, brakes, suspention and so on. but dont want it to be filled with stickers and other things that dont belong on a gtr.

i am also looking for an r33 gtr and well also looked at some r32 gtr`s..

but if i can help you i will try...

a gtr r33 in denmark on plates are around 300000 kr or about 30000 £

look on PistonHeads.com :: Speed Matters some lovely ones on there, generally gtr's are sticker free, and to be honest..so are most of the gtst's.

There are 4 or 5 really nice ones at the moment all with pretty decent and costly mods.

Bog standard are as low as £6000 for 33 gtr.

Quite a lot of 400bhp 32gtrs also on there

I was thinking the same.....my brother is married to A japanese girl..and he lives in Japan...near Kobe(earthquake place)...one of his friends is an Australian car dealer/buyer..

problem is my brother knows nothing about cars....and I mean nothing, if I was there I would be buying every decent thing I could find...japanese have a very throw away culture..when something new comes out they want it..and just get rid of their old stuff for pennies..
