Many of you may well know this whole "global warming" crap is complete bull.

Since Al Gore invented it, our governments have been filling us with crap and charging us for it.

The earth cooled by 0.7c last year, if it doesn't rise soon, "global warming" will be over.

Global warming is nothing new, the planet is god knows how many million years old and these goons in power tell us the planet is suffering from global warming based on info they have collected over a a few decades. All this crap "since records began". LOL

When exactly did records begin? Not far enough back to produce any meaningful evidence.

I'm right there with you mate
I dont for one second believe that humans are responsible for global warming. Fact is that the planet has a documented cycle of hot and cold periods lasting approx 15-20yrs. Just so happens that were in a period of natural warming. However, all the doom-and-gloomers have jumped on the bandwagon and have decided that we are all to blame.
Funny(!) thing is that the global warming 'industry' that has been spawned out of all this is now HUGE and employs many people. I find it all a bit suspicious that credible scientists who oppose the global warming theory are villified by their peers and frequently find themselves out of a job. The evidence AGAINST global warming is substantial AND credible with many respected climatologists firmly in the anti global warming camp. I'm not going as far as to say there is a 'conspiracy' as too many folks on here jump on that word and go off on one. However, the lack of proper, informed debate is worrying. It seems as if everyone has just accepted the global warming theory as gospel and are highly resistant to anyone challenging that theory.

Now I applaud the recent efforts to reduce global emissions as this can only be a good thing overall i.e reducing landfill and generally make the place cleaner.

As for global warming.....bah, load of rubbish....

If you use the correct terms you might be able to understand some of what you read (watch). May I ask, do you base your knowledge of the subject on this video?

Coincidentally a good friend of mine is in the latter stages of an MSc in climatology at Birmingham university and I have discussed this subject with her a few times. Seems there is a strong (and growing) movement which feels that the accepted theory on manmade climate change is erroneous and founded on poor science.
Now this is coming from someone DIRECTLY involved in the field. Having seen the programme in question she felt that, whilst there were some omissions and errors made, the overall basis of the programme was sound.

Yes, having read much about the subject, and without attempting to make controversial comments for the sake of it, I have to agree.
Now,whilst I don't have a string of qualifications giving me in depth knowledge, I have concerned myself with the matter due to the fact that at first glance my interests and hobbies would appear to add to global warming. These being ownership of a "gas guzzling" Skyline and before that 4x4s and the fact that I hold a private pilots licence. All these things have been, or are currently to a various amount frowned upon by the "global warming" theorists.
Of course it is a concern to many of us, but there is growing evidence to show that it's all a load of political bumkum.

Now flame away the few of you that like to create an uninformed argument

i'm not familiar with the technicalities around global warming. however, even if it is a fake phenomenon, are we implying that everything else that is being said is WRONG??

Like air pollution is also a fake phenomenon, or that the hole in the ozone is not a bad thing? or that the melting ice caps is not an issue to worry about because in another 20 years we will hit a cold cycle?

Whilst i dont think global warming is man made as a species would shouldnt be allowed to pump all that pollution into the environment without controls like we had been doing.

There are good things to come out of the actions taken to limit global warming and thats positive, shame the western governments have used it as a taxation exercise

You can show in lab test, that CO2 in a 'controlled' atmosphere will increase heat retention - is it not fair to assume the same happens on a global scale?
