When I sometimes start up the car I hear a "whoop whoop" noise. I have an R32 with an R34 engine with a cobra alarm. I have had the hicas light flash on and off a few times I don't know if this is connected.

any help would be appriciated.

Is it a mechanical kind of noise after the engine has fired ?

It seems like a regular problem for the starter to make a noise like this as it spins down after a start... I know mine certainly did, And I was able to repair it (No noise for 4 years so far).

It seems to be when you turn the ignition on to start the car and its seems to be like an alarm noise.
