Fitting wideband lambda sensor
I have the Innovate LC-1 wideband sensor to fit to my R33 GTR but I'm pretty crap at electrics so don't feel 100% confident trying to fit it.
I've already got a bung in my Abbey decat section that I think the wideband sensor itself will just screw into, but I can't see any easy way of routing the wiring back inside the car to then hook up to the power or to the ECU/Datalogit. Is there anyone in the north-west that's done this and willing to give me a hand setting it up? Or can anyone recommend a garage that'll do the job properly without costing a fortune? Thanks

i have one im my car, and it is pretty simple to wire up (if you know about properly wiring a stereo for example)
However there are a few things you must be sure to do right. Get a earth wire and connect it to the engine block, route that in to the car, and use that earth for all the wires on the LC1 that need to be grounded. Second thing, the LC1 is very sensitive for voltage drops / high amps etc. So make sure the positive wire that you use cuts out while cranking the engine. You can also read lots about this on theire forum. If you follow these steps this is a great product. Innovate Motorsports Forum - Powered by vBulletin Asim ![]() |
