White R rocks Athens Tuning Show - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Have just returned from the amazing Athens Tuning show, which is held every year for the past 4 years Sept 17th -21st for 5 days. The biggest and best show in Southern Europe, and for me one of the best in the world. The cars, crowd, athmosphere. Greek crowds love Japanese cars. It's not the biggest in size but the quality is special. The organisers pull out all the stops, inviting the best cars from Europe (i.e UK) for static display and live action at a cost of over £150,000 (take note tight uk events).

This year of course an R35 had to go, that's a given. Also JTS Leon Greens new drag supra, Geoff @ Reworx drag RX8, Fensport Celica, Dragon performance RX7, Japimports UK Bee-r, sva imports R34, GBH 200SX, Trial NSX and drift cars from Italy and Greece.

I won't go on about the other cars, they can do that themselves. But The R35 had never been seen in Greece or Southern Europe before so it was kind of a big deal, with pre coverage in the best Greek mags such as Power Techniques, max Power Greece etc...

R35 went on the Nissan Greece stand were it was a constant crowd puller.

R35 was also shot for EVO Greece and Max after the event.

Although i understand the GT-R isn't officially available / orders being taken for euro models in Greece, it's likely to happen in next few months. Speaking to a few guys who had never seen the car before but had US cars coming over, so was keen to make aware what's available on the tuning side
