Is the UK car's limiter on/off-able ?

The one we went down the runway on is the one in the magazines and the highest speed I got up to in the practise runs was 268 kph before I had to brake, they obviously didn't have the magic touch like I did when it came to these things - can't say more than that I'm afraid!!. UK cars won't be limited.

From what I recall, this press car seemed bullet-proof last time it was in Dave's caring hands...

That car was run in by my own caring hands (1200 miles in a week, mostly down a runway! ), and went straight from us to the Top Gear track where it set it's time. Must be loosened up by now!!
