Very impressed with the times it was producing over their test courses especially given the j-spec restriction.

Maybe I've just been reading to many car magazines of late but I felt the Autocar article was very flat. Considering they had the Isle of Man for the day along with lots of extras, and some amazing cars. I would have thought some passion might have crept into the piece dull dull dull

Maybe all the talent is at Drivers Republic now?

My understanding is, this is press car, for use by the UK press (it is a JDM car). Given they want to demonstrate the cars ultimate ability to the press, why not remove the limiter?

Nice vid footage tho' :

Autocar Videos - Autocar.co.uk

I guess they*almost* didn't need to delimit her... + bet that no-one's got around to it... GT-R Academy day ones were defo delimited & totally ballistic !

Can't wait, *must* wait !

P.S. "Making it no use for anyone else".... cue for Davros to leave the room?

From what I recall, this press car seemed bullet-proof last time it was in Dave's caring hands...

Question On/off-able?

P.P.S. Dave, iirc, you definitely demonstrated 260kph down runway 05 at CCity airport - although you didn't select flaps and take-off !!!

Is the UK car's limiter on/off-able ?

Ofcourse it would be rated so high..... with the design and model it has, nothing can get closer to beat it ...
To add to it - its 193 mph top speed with an outstanding 480 hp torque
IT IS UNTOUCHABLE
