Useful mpg calculator

Just a link to a nifty little fuel calculator - gives you mpg, litres/100km, cost per mile etc.

MPG calculator UK miles per Gallon - calculate MPG

Turn it up to 11. Although that's pretty quiet on my stereo, it goes up to 100.

65 litre tank, 24 laps of Spa to a tank. Spa is 4.3 miles, so 103.2 miles per tank. That's 7.22 mpg.

Or, 4 laps of the Nordschleife until the orange light come on, let's be generous and call it 55 litres. BTG is 11.8 miles, so 47.2 miles. That's 3.9 mpg.

Anyone got the number for the Samaritans?

p.s. Bern, you're a ****!

Excuse me, but you've not allowed for the queue to get off the track, the even longer queue to get into the carpark, the 5 or 6 times you drive around said carpark looking for a space, then finally the 20 minutes the engine is left running with the bonnet open to cool down !

So I make it more like 50 m.p.g, which means I can go again !
