Head upgrade

Any good strong upgrades for a R32 GTR head, thinking about doing a complete rebuild for the hell of it. Well, then I know its all strong and I know whats what so to speak.

Anyway, thinking about an RB30 head, but its about 30mm taller isnt it?

It's better. I think the RB30 head is a single cam and doesnt flow anywhere near as good as the RB26 head.

I could be talking out of my ar5e though- I'm no mechanic.

Send a message via ICQ to GT-R Glenn
Rb30 is sohc
RB25 or 26 head is used on RB30 bottom end by some.
Usually because its very easy to find bolt on go fast bits for that head.

Theres also plenty of 800hp sohc RB30's in Oz

New valve springs and guides in your RB26 head and oversize valves and then port it if you want the ultimate.

The standard untouched head will make in excess of 700hp with springs.
