Question Who Can ID Turbochargers From Their Serial Plate? HKS.

OK guys... pair of HKS uprated turbochargers... not quite sure what model of HKS turbocharger they are...

Serial Plate reads: -
----------------------------
Made In Japan Garrett

17200-113100
VJ7008J
468397-5
----------------------------
Any ideas as to which model of HKS turbo that translates to?

Thanks guys.

OK... did some research on Garret 468397

And that brought up the following information...

TB25
Inducer - 46.5mm
Exducer - 60.1mm
Trim - 60'79
Blade Width - 5.3
Number of Blades - 6

Can anyone expand on that for me?

I think those are 2530's if my tired mind remembers those serial numbers correctly.

If It's GT2530, I think you should find GT2530 on that plate

Well they are definitely HKS turbochargers as they have HKS markings all over the elbows and housings of the two units. They just have the above information detailed on their Garrett I.D plates.

So... what HKS units are they? LOL.

As far as, I have seen or what I know, HKS std replacement twin turbo chager with HKS marking on housing is either GT2530 or GT2510. ( I haven't tried checking with those plate numbers)
GT-SS, GT2540(I think most), would be similar to R34N1 or Nismo turbine with square box instead of HKS marking.
But I have never seen any GT2530 or GT2510 without either of them writen on the plate.
