Top Tuner/Mapper

Hi everyone just thought i would share with you my experience with Steve at FC TUNING, www.fctuning.com

I have a r33 gtr v-spec which when i bought had a power fc and was tuned by previous owner. It drove ok but had no real aggression in power delivery I got in touch with Steve who is based in Enfield north london just off the M25 off Jct 25, he checked the power fc hand held controller and after a drive he said it needs to be mapped properly.

We went to the dyno to tune it and it started off at about 295bhp at 0.9bar, i knew there was something wrong, after about 2 1/2 hours thorough checking and tuning and some road tuning it came out with 415bhp and 370ftlbs torque which is quite good for 1.05bar on standard turbos. it drove much better after this but i had weak turbos so next plan was to upgrade to some steel internal ones.

I have now changed the turbos and also have some tomei poncams to go in so lets see what power and torque it will make now.

Seriously people if you want to get your jap cars tuned (he may even do other makes im not sure you will have to ask) he is the man to see, very honest and fairly priced, well worth the every penny.

take a look at his website its worth a look.

No i think he is working on it but he does most mapping from home or either on the road he attaches all sorts of things to the car whilst driving, wide band, det cans etc. He is really good mate he takes all his cars to marlow obviously with the customer to the dyno which is a dyno dynamics dyno. Very accurate.

Here is the vid of steve mapping my 34

Nissan Skyline R34 GTT (RB26DETT)

He followed up dyno tuning with a trip to santa pod and back to set up the profec B and tweek the map for drivability and fuel economy

Even offered to jump in the car when im at a drift practice day to further tweek the map

Knows his SRs and RBs very well indeed and get him talking bout RB30s to make his eyes light up
