2860-7 and stock ECU?

hi

after a recent ceramic failure i was looking to upgrade

would the popular 2860-7 be ok on stock management, i have a chipped stock ECU

i guess i would be looking to run it at one bar or something and possibly upgrade the ECU at a later date?

The -7's are much them same as ( or even are) R34 N1 turbos, so I think you should be OK running them on a stock ecu but the timing may have to be altered just to make sure it is safe.

retard your timing a few degrees and dont go crazy on the boost and you "should" be alright. Be careful and get it mapped as soon as you can
