NISMO Fest

Gentleman just got off the phone with Patrick at RHDJapan and he squared me away with "Two tickets to Paradise", Thanks RHDJapan and Patrick. I am also being squared up on a Carbon Fiber Front lip Spoiler from RHDJapan, patiently waiting for that to arrive.

Marius - the Keio Plaza hotel is in Shinjuku, near the Shinjuku train station/bus depot. My car is full, so unfortunately I can't offer you a ride (plus Shinjuku is really out of the way for me), but let me try to give you some alternatives, just in case:

NISMO FESTIVAL at FUJI SPEEDWAY 2008

This is in Japanese, but gives you directions from Shinjuku (as it is a major train/bus terminal). You can print out the above, or ask the concierge for help too, but:
1. Bus - from Shinjuku Nishi guchi (west exit), take the Odakyu Hakone Express Bus. It's 100 minutes to Gotemba station, and then 20 minutes by bus/taxi to Fuji Speedway.

2. Train - take the Odakyu "Romance Car" from Shinjuku to Gotemba Station. 95 minutes, more comfortable than the bus. From Gotenba station, take the bus/taxi to Fuji Speedway.

you should be able to pre-purchase the tickets for the above at Shinjuku station - highly recommended, so you don't waste time the morning of looking for the ticket window.

At Gotemba JR station (I think this is where the bus/train ends up), there will be a bus (don't know how many people per bus - get in line fast!) to Fuji. cost is 610 yen each, leaving at 0640 and every 30 minutes thereafter until 1130. Look for the "Fuji-San guchi 7."

I'll buzz you tomorrow to see if you still have room.
If not I'll try and meet up with Marius and his father.

I'm out guys. first time ever I'm letting work get in the way of a trip to tokyo.

v. sad. please do not have any fun without me!

BTW, for those needing to do a solo mission there are english instructions on the fisco site.

FSW.TV

enjoy, I'm sure it will be an awesome event this year with lots of new R35s out and about.

plus I have an R35 GTR arriving here in a week and need to be here to supervise that and make sure it goes smoothly through customs etc. can't let anything go wrong with that one.! Just bad timing.

I got my tickets today. THANKS RHDJapan!!!

But...I got an extra thinking that my ride could use one, but he already had his ticket.

So, I have an extra ticket to anyone who needs it, compliments of RHDJapan.

If you want it, I can give it to you at Ebina PA if my ride is going there to meet up. If not, give me a mailing address, and I'll get it the mail first thing Friday morning.

You always have to make it so damn early, DCD! Don't you like sleep?

If it saves me from a 3+ hour trip home, I think I better get my lazy ass to Ebina around 7AM as well.
