iTunes Help

Hi. I have iTunes and it has stopped letting me buy tracks. It asks for my password which I put in then it says my details have changed and that I have to make sure they are correct? after I do this it sits there and does nothing.

Also does anyone know how to de-authorise an iTunes account if the PC it was authorised on is now in bits, broken & no longer working?

Cheers

yea, i thought abu that. I should have mentioned, its happened on my home laptop running Vista and on my work PC running XP. i ran AVG antivirus on my home PC and Kasperski on the work one. clean as a whistle.

I tried to use the help section in iTunes but that was no help.

Thanks though Mook

Sounds like

Sounds like youve been copying music from other users a fair bit and also moved your files to another computer once or twice.

You can deauthorise all computers yourself with the menu , but all the music youve copied from others will probably not play any more.

With the access to your own account, you must definately be entering the wrong password or/and clicking aol user as well as wrong casing.

Ps: Deauthorise is in store menu and hopefully you didnt already deauthorise your account while trying to figure it all out.

It could be the fact that the payment details you put in when registering have expired. Check the dates on your debit card/ credit card that you registered with, they could of expired. If you received a new card and haven't updated your account, it wont let you purchase anything.

i have moved music from my work PC to my home PC Would this cause problems?

Using the Deauthorise in the store menu seems to only deauthorise the PC im doing it from

and i have e-mailed them a few times but didnt get a responce. and ive just been searching for a number but couldnt find one

PS: Yes i did deauthorise my account while trying to figure this all out
