I never knew these were fitted!!

Hi all,

I bought my GT R33 in the belief that it had stock suspension but while rumaging in the boot at the weekend I found the tool pouch which had a pair of Tein C spanners in it.

Strange I thought, so I had a look underneath and sure enough I could see some adjustable platform coil over struts (green).

Can anyone advise if Tein make many different types of coil over and when the cars in for service next week where should I ask the mechanic to look to try and identify a part number or any other way of determining the kit that's fitted?

Before you ask I had the car inspected by the RAC before I bought it so I wouldn't have to scrabble around underneath, which is why I haven't noticed the struts before now, mind you, I've only had the car 3 weeks!!

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for that, do you know if the struts are marked anywhere with something that I can match up to the website to find out what is actually fitted?

Many thanks.

They usually have a label at the bottom of the damper but if they haven't post a picture up and someone will identify them for you.
