Evil...thy name is 2wd switch.

Anyone else put one of these "tire burners" into their r32 ?? Installed mine as a drag racing novelty, and 2 weeks later I've eaten 1/2 the rubber off the back wheels.
I must admit it's definitely worth the couple buck for a switch, lots of fun.

I think laying down the rubber in 4wd whilst driving the kids to school is a bit extreme
Gotta draw the line somewhere eh' Mick

is your switch only in the underdash fusebox? No wiring to the relay under the hood? I think I'm going to do this mod this week. Shouldn't take more than a hour or so with some wire and solder.

or just flick the ignition off as you're rolling (just rolling, doesnt have to be fast) and back on and hey presto, 2wd. as i understand it even if you wire a switch in you still have to stop to engage 4wd again so i dont see the gain.

2wd is an awful lot of fun though

yea my car has the switch and it's great fun. But the way my car comes on boost it's ****ing scary in a striaght line let alone mid corner but I still keep turning it off for some crazyness.

Yea you have to come to a complet standstill for the 4wd and abs to kick back in

Flick the switch, chuck it into 4th, bring up the revs and just lay it, you'll soon get the hang of it

Make a few burnout videos for us Rob, on the street though, none of that gay ass drag strip malarkey

Huge great big rolling burnouts that leave the whole street looking foggy, that's what we want. Can you make them scratch and sniff too, so we can get the whole experience in one short video, the sights and the smells.

No problem, Here's one I prepared earlier, starting in 4th from a standstill:
