what do people use to make sure we get all the hardware before we upset somebody by missing something out

Yep, You can game using Linux no problems

Warcraft runs quite nicely on it once you reconfigure for OpenGL graphics.

I dont play games much myself, I only play Warcraft and then only 2 or 3 times a week in the evenings....

Though I pretty much use computers every waking hour these days.

we could have poll of old kit and new perhaps???

As I'm on the fringe of the gaming industry this is all quite interesting
