4.3 liter GTR R33

hi Guys,
Having owned a skyline for 2 years now I miss one thing on this car and that is torque. The 2.6 6 banger is just not torquey and the raping revs I don't really like. So when I was playing this weekend with my car and I thought why not try something different. We welded the front differential to the a 4.3 liter V8 sump and built it in the car. We CNC-ed the front plate of a Viper T56 to accept the bellhouse of the V8 engine and also an adapter to the skyline transaxle to the viper T56 box, to keep the atezza stuff. Shall I finish this project or do you guys think i'm nuts?
I was planning on putting two T3 housed 67mm turbos on the V8 and make it sequential turbo setup. Should be enough for like 1000 Nm of torque and like 1100 horses or so?

that's an easy swap as it's RWD only. If I would take a RWD car it would be supra JZA80 ofcourse. On this car I wanna keep the 4WD stuff AND have huge amounts of torque. 1000 to 1500 Nm or something.

I thought of going this route before I chose the VH41DE.

Id love to see some detail pics of the sump with the front diff welded in, along with the adapter plates etc for the transmission!

Can't you get the engine a good bit further back in the shell? Can't be good for weight distribution or polar moment with all that engine hanging out in front of the front wheel centreline. Looks a complex project, rather you than me BTW Arnout, are you still able to supply your cast iron single turbo 2JZ-GTE manifolds, and what's the material spec of the cast iron please? I am at chris@chriswilson.tv

Looks like a great project - finish it!

Just one thing, though. I'm impressed by the engineering so far, but are you sure you've installed the piston correctly???
