They are using javascript in the description of a real ebay auction to inject a unicode encoded webpage, which is then overlayed over the real ebay page.

hell, how do they get to register a website address like that?? and i'm surprise ebay hasn't shut it down yet if it was reported last week Friday already. One would expect they'd have a special unit that deals with fraudulent webpages as a priority.

You can sort of notice that everything on the site is a bit fuzzy, like when you convert pages to jpeg and lose a bit of resolution.. but it still looks almost identical to a normal ebay pages.

What other modifications have you done to it? Does the number plate come with it? Are you willing to deal outside of ebay so
that we can avoid extra ebay costs and especially paypal fees? Please email me any more pictures you have of the car, perhaps
also from under the car of the LSD to confirm that it is a VSpec. I am hoping to get this before someone else does but I need to
see more pictures.

Notice on when you open up the link and the seller name changes to tuska64 but the advert is the same! So, this seller has nothing to sell, hmmm. Looking forward to having some fun with this. I wonder if I can talk him down on the price. I will need some creative photographic proof though, what should I ask him to do?




Just asked another question to the seller, I have nothing to do at the moment.

"I just asked my bank about a loan for this car but they will need some basic info. I have the loan secured but they just have some easy information about the car and the seller that I need to give them. I hope we can work this out as now I am very interested in this car. Is there a way to contact you on the phone? Can we not email via ebay so I do not have pay for any ebay charges? Please respond soon as I am very interested in this car and hope to have as a early Christmas present."

But when you search ebay the car is not actually there (obviously). Pretty good scammer actually, gonna be fun. I just hope it is no one from this board playing a scammer trick/joke on us and I hope it a real scammer from Nigeria.

Thank you for the quick response. What is your bank's name? My agent at my bank asked me to ask you, sorry. Also, he asked me for you to provide some more info on the car. When did it come to the UK, who was the previous owner and a picture of the seller next to car as proof. If you could hold up the latest newspaper to ensure that this car is for sale now and not from a while ago. I know this seems very strange but as we are dealing with a great sum of money, considering we have never met. This is going to in my file at the bank and the money is there, but cannot be released till then.
