I do love those fleabay scam pages, you can't click on any link except the 'email the seller' link. I wonder if it's one of those scams that expects you to enter your username and password, so that your account can be hijacked for scamming purposes?

You could try mailing the seller direct and asking him wtf is going on, try this;

edit: It isn't gonna cane your account, but it's not like the proper ebay way, you have to manually enter your email account. Not exactly done a good job on that then, has he.

I sent him a question via his advert, asking him when I can view the car, and how he expects to be paid. I just mailed him at that addy too, and when I get a response I'll check the headers to see if he really is in Scotland.

Though, any scammer worth his salt would know how to cover their tracks, and use a server that has no come backs to them.

I keep getting these e-mails to me saying that they'll buy my car for the asking price & not barter me down but they're in another contry at the moment & they'll need my Bank account details etc. (scam written allover but they must think we're all natural Blondes or born yesterday?)

I reply to them & say:
'That's really nice of you to offer the full asking price but i wouldn't feel right so what i'm going to do is to give you £100 cash back first instead, so you give me your Bank details first & i'll wire you up the £100 straight away fella!'

Then i just sit back & giggle my ass off!

Well this is a new variation from the Nigerian 419ers. It made me lmfao when I first came across it

The car is in very good running condition, no damages, accidents or scratches no need repairs of course, is in perfect condition inside and outside as well the condition of the engine is perfect. I never smoke in it and i want to sell it to a serious person who will take very good care of it.
The year of the car is 11.2000 and the price is 7000 GBP(with shipping included) , the technical revision has been made several weeks ago.

I might mail Greg Landis later on and see if he knows his servers are being used for fraudulent purposes.

When I was looking at buying a GTR, I came across that scam so many times - cheap car, seller claims to have bought it while working in the UK and then taken it back home with them, and now selling it on cheap - beware, they will go to extraordinary lengths to get you to think its all above board - I emailed one guy, and after getting his response, a couple of hours later he had a mocked up HPI report sent through to me claiming the car was totally legit! He only backed off when I said id get a plane over to him to see the car and then drive it home..
