What would sensible would be to allow Silver Wheels as a no-cost option, for those that wanted them.

Just to clarify:

It is £1300 between grades and not a £1300 increase. The increase is actually £1995

Me too....very unsure about the black wheels. It seems then that the extra expense is purely for the black paint, black headlining and MJ seats. I think at one point it was going to include the auto wipers, lights and auto dimming rv mirror but they're standard on the premium too.

I've seen a couple of 911's and Gallardo's in black with black wheels and they didn't look that good.

You'd think that switching to the gunmetal ones should be easy enough....

just to claify (From NMGB)

For customers ordering now, the price of the GT-R will increase by £1995 and start from £56,795 on the road with a further £1300 for the Premium Edition (£58,095) and another £1300 for the Black Edition (£59,395). This represents an overall increase of 3.8 percent.

1. Does the non-nav car have bluetooth at all?

2. If yes, what bluetooth phone standards does it support? We should be able to find out from there what phones it will support over here.

3. If yes, does it support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) standards. If it does, it should play music from most MP3 players.
If anyone else has any questions please list them here. I will compile the list and pass it on to Nissan Europe

Why does the UK car not get a reversing camera system?

Red face

Are you quoting prices at the UK standard VAT rate or the temporary 15% rate?
If the prices quoted are at the 15% rate it would equate to just under a 6% increase at the normal 17 1/2 % rate due to come back in 2010 when any new orders are due to be supplied (unless we then see an increase in VAT from the chancellor to pay for the deficit!!)

i thought the spec announcement would also tell us about optional extras as well. does the fact that none were mentioned mean that there aren't any?

the announcement didn't mention the rumoured improved fuel consumption and enlarged fuel tank but i'm still guessing the rumours are true. Anyway, I'm very happy with all the changes especially since the V.A.T. reduction means that the price has gone down for existing orders.

4. Has the fuel tank been enlarged?

someone put a link up to a website that listed the changes and said that they would be put into production in mid 2010.
is this true or do the changes take effect on all UK cars as off march 09?

do we know the answer to this already
