who told you that leds and aftermarket sat nav is an option from the dealers? The car isnt even here yet so the dealers dont even fully know what they will be offering apart from middlehursts who are trying out diffferent sat navs. And why should they be standard these days, i think because one car manufacturer does something people think it should be standard across the board. Remember this is a NISSAN and as much as i love them you wont get everything with them for that money. If it were a different car company saying that certain things werent standard people would accept it so why is nearly everyone on here so demanding!

not too bothered if something is standard or not, but it should certainly be available.

Bluetooth and Ipod connectivity should absolutely be an option.

As I have said numerous times, the 2 HPC's I had conversations with last March/April were specific that only nav equipped cars would definitely get bluetooth.

This was why I ordered the Nav version!

Nobody who ordered non-nav was told it would come with Bluetooth - people have just assumed something that had no basis on facts given.

Precisely - and it is 'assumption' that has lead to a lot of problems regarding this car on this site

I think they assumed it because its not exactly a difficult thing to add to a car.
I expect it wont be a difficult aftermarket job to carry out.
It quite simply would have been nice for Nissan have offered it as a cost option.
I also expect someone will create a workaround to get Sat nav to work on the main display at some point.

Bluetooth quite probably, but nav requires a different wiring loom so doing that is extremely unlikely. Aftermarket units it will be!

no. 24 or 25)
for non-nav cars
will there be the option of having the Satellite navigation specification:

Europe map display (33 countries)
7 languages menu contents
Navigation voice guidance (7 Languages)
Voice recognition for Navigation and Phone
Theft protection function (Immobiliser Link)
RDS-TMC Traffic information offering
In-dash 6CD changer for Audio-CD, mp3, WMA
Bluetooth hands free phone
Entire phone book download at once (from mobile phone)
Display of A/C information

all installed into the car at a later date, either at a cost or not.

i might be willing to pay for this to be added as long as it doesnt cost too much. cheers

I have said on NUMEROUS occasions that the LED-style lights are NOT an optional extrra for the UK market and never were on the options list. I don't know why I bother sometimes!

no big deal.....but the answer to the question about fuel consumption..."what rumour" isn't very helpful as it still leaves the question open. Could i rephrase the question as "has the fuel consumption for series 2 R35s been improved over series 1 R35s?"

Thanks very much getting those answers so fast> Really impressive. Great news on the parking sensors option! As for bluetooth, not gret it isn't included but that was clear from the start. No reason to complain. By an aftermarket parrot system and move on.
