Alienware? You must have some pennies saved up.
Why not check the Alienware website, they have specially built p.c's for different purposes, or you can simply create you own. Although building your own P.C always works out cheaper.

you can also go for DELL XPS series... i ve got the XPS Inspirion Gen 2 Notebook some time ago this thin was with massive performance.
But if you are good technican it would be much better you build your own system and buy parts from the cheapest dealer. you can save a lot money and you will get what you want

You could try these guys, I've bought parts from them in the past and they were very good. They now build gaming systems and even over-clocked systems like these: Systems (PCs) » Overclocked - Overclockers UK
They might be a bit cheaper than Alienware

i usually upgrade
i buy my parts from Microdirect.co.uk is the UK leading retailer of quality computer components and electronics. there only a five minute drive from my house they seem to have a large varity and at very competitive prices i always build my own you can usually build something better for less money

Build your own (its really not hard-more like slotting bits in), i would say the best all around deal is a quadcore cpu, something like a q6600, f1 spinpoint hard drive, graphics, ati hd4850 or hd4870.
A p35 motherboard will do you fine with that setup, pic and choose your case/psu, 2-3 gig of ram, alienware is like pouring money down a drain. I use aria.co.uk and they've been great and always seem to have aggresive pricing, for the most part. Best of all, all that will cost you about 270 without a Graphics card which you obviously need. Add another 180 for 4870, or the hd4850 is still a great card for 120 ish. If you want dual core cpu, I would say E8400, 500 not worth the .5 multiplier! But really dude, for under 500 quid you should have a storming gaming rig that will eat everything. no point in over speccing and waiting for the software to catch up as your hardware will become less desired. you spend 400-500 on that setup, even in 18 months time it will still sell for about 220-260 pounds and it'll run pretty much run everything you throw at it in the meantime to a more than adequate level. If you want more I would look into the i7 CPU's but you need x58 mobo and they're 230=a pop plus you need expensive ram, its just a bad investment atm.

![]() In case you're interested, there is my identical spec my my account page at Aria (I have no affiliation with them). honestly i spent a great deal of time researching all this stuff. The case is ugly so pic a dif one as i only use these setups as number crunchers. That has to be one of the best bang for buck setups you can get as an all round pc (gaming included). Especially as you can overclock them SAFELY to 3.ghz (from the desktop so you don't need to be a geek!) so the argument for using a similar priced dual core becomes almost invalid. add a card to that and you'll be laughing and it'll still sell for good money in a year. plays crysis on Ultra high even with hd4850 at more than acceptable frame rates and it'll keep its value for a long time.
