hi, thanks dfor the coments

rogerdavis might go for 265 toyo 888 for now, and get away with it just by doing some lip work, but if i want to go for big wide tyres....295 or 315 maybe there is no other way...except for a veilside widebody or some of the others, but i realy dont like those....i do like the look of the rk-tuning time attack cars

very very hard,
the old owner of the car was lucky enough to start the homologation before the new homologation laws came in, right now no car with less than 20 years can be homologated without euro 4 or 5.

many are being done, as there is many ways around it, but none of them are......lets say 100% legal, just homologation guys that let it pass.

this is basically what the car has now,
waiting for a converter board for the ecu, as i had a numpty calling himself a "tuner" here in spain butcher all my wiring. got myself a nwe wiring so , just waiting on that.

lots of things to do to it yet.
have to fabricate myself some 3" downpipes with a 4" exhasut with no silencers for racetrack. make a catch tank (located where abs was) with return to sump, and finish the fuel surge tank and all the wiring and lines.

one all this is done, Garth from MGT racing (nice bloke , always meet him when i go to uk to watch the time attack) will come down and sort the mapping.

after this big plans for car, have some nice 18" volks to go on, will have to wide arch the car (going for rk tuning style) bigger brakes, lexan and carbon.

and maybe cut half the front en of the car off to make a full aluminium subframe, so it can withstand the downforces i am going to be giving it

here is a little sneak peak of what im doint o the car.......(arches are cardboard )

if people are interested i will post pictures of the process and lists of weight reduction etcetc

final plan is to get a competent road car, that makes very good times on race track, maybe 650bhp and under 1400 road interior car......(lots of carbon going on here hehe)

simon

Just a thought, how on earth are you going to be able to get up the ramp in the first pic, (i presume its work or where you work on the car mate?) with that new front splitter and cannards fitted Simon buddy?

haha, nice one bob :P

nope, as i said before, that is my track bumper, this one will be bolted on at the track, as there is no way i can even moove on the street with that, without ripping it all of on every speed bump.....pffff hehe

anyone know what max size tyres i can run on the standard arches? ive been told someone used 295īs on a standard arched car, with just lip work, if i can do this, i might not need to do the arch estensions...........and invest in lexan maybe hahaha.

hello, new little updates:

fuel system being layed out

im pretty sure a bit more tape and will have no fuel problems with the surge tank :P

blue hose qill be the cam breathers, making a custom catch tank where the abs used to be, and wirth return to the rear tubo

now sorting out, a few missing fittings, and looking at a huge oil cooler and radiator.
1 off 4" exhaust bits being ordered so i can fabricate it
and ikeya front and rear lower wishbones on my list.
