Cool Just trying to Gauge Interest:

I have been considering this for sometime now and I think it may be time to part with my baby, I'll probably use the money to respray my GTR.

What we have for sale here, is a genuine Gibson Les Paul Standard, in it's hard case, still on the original strings.

The serial number indicates it was manufactured in the original Nashville, Tennessee factory. I think it is a 200x model (will have to confirm that one). Either way this is one of the original hand made guitars before they created hollows in them making them a lot lighter now . In my opinion this makes them feel cheap and looses a lot of tone.

Anyway, sensible offers would be accepted. The colour is Heratige Cherry Sunburst.

This is your chance to own an awesome sounding & playing guitar that's very hard to come by these days. Never been gigged and has the sustain of a runaway freight train.

PM me for info.

Next up is my Fender Stratocaster Lonestar (Mexican). It's in white with a tortoise shell triple ply pick-gaurd and rosewood fret board. This thing plays as well as any American strat (i played loads over my time). It has a butter like action and has that bell like tone and flexibility you would expect from the Stratocaster with the added bonus of the 'Seamor Duncan Pearly White Humbucker' pickups at the bridge which set this guitar apart from the rest to give it even more gutsy, dirty power on tap. Again offers...

I will upload pictures soon / on request.

I will take some pictures of the Stratocaster tonight and the LP at the weekend as its kept at a secret location

I don't believe the LP is compatible with Guitar Hero but I believe it's compatible with the Marshall DSL valve amp I may as well sell as well.

I would probably consider some tuning parts for my R33 GTR in exchange for the Guitars.

Les Pauls have been weight relived since the late 80's ,the r8 and r9's are as they were in the 50's and are made at the custom shop ,only custom shop Les Pauls are considerd really hand made ,but even so not as they were in the old days .Not being funny here but I own quite few Gibsons .

Fact is it's not weight relieved like the current models an it is hand made.

Can you please leave posts like that off this thread. Thanks mate.

can you post the first and fith numbers of the serial no.
is there any neck repairs or damage ?
any fret ware
is it a plain or flame top ?
is it in original condition ?

if the guitar is still on the original strings you are not doing it any favours. a new set would sound so much better.

I cant see anything that stealth has posted that is crapping your thread he knows what hes on about regarding les pauls, It seems to me he was only trying to find out exactly what you have for sale
