First official Test in german Sportauto magazin

Hi guys,i just got my copy of the best german Sportscar magazin, its called Sportauto.Sportauto is normaly very Porsche friendly, which is normal for a magazin coming from Porsche hometown Stuttgart

They tested the KW Development R35GTR on the Hockenheimring and Nordschleife(completly covered in snow).

The car has the following mods:
KW Suspension & KW LSD Doors(ok,not everyones taste)

At 4 degree celsius asphalt temp the GTR did a 1.11,2 in Hockenheim which is around 0.7sek faster then a Porsche Turbo on sporttyres with normal temperatur. For that test the GTR had the stock Bridgestones,if i read the article correct. Another test was planned (on 285´s Dunlops allaround) to attack the GT2 Time with 1.09,7,but the weather was shit,so they could not do it............

Theyx have been very happy with the GTR,they are very impressed from what it did

Alex

Average consumption: 14.9L/100km
The Audi S4 tested in the same issue did 14.1L/100km.

In the last paragraph they wrote something like "Sayonara. It was an honor for us. A deep bow to its performance..."

Amazing car.

edit: oh and the "highly developed" AWD system brings "tears of joy" haha!

No it wasn't. Not sure why it would matter to you given your position as President of the "Nissan provides Ringers" convention.

The Supertest will hopefully be very early next year and I'm looking forward to seeing the turbo's 7:54 and the z06's 7:49 getting neatly spanked. I don't believe the GT2 will be beaten with it's incredible 7:33 but then who cares?

What matters is that Porsche will look like a bunch of noobs with their claim that the GT-R is a 7:54 car.

Does anyone know the exact date for the Supertest?

You'll find that the 997 Turbo never beats the GTR, not once.

The KW suspension may even have slowed it down.

But over at 6speedonline on the endless and senseless "Porsche accuses Nissan of cheating" - thread ( the most cantankerousness on the internet ever, over 2300 posts now) you have totally overlooked the obvious fact that made the GT-R run down the ring like an UFO like no other stock Porsche have ever done: Nissan manipulated time!!! How could you miss it!!
The GT-R is such a technical masterpiece with so much computerpower onboard that it easely make time always work for it and not as the case is for Porsche when it work the -ring always against
Now you have enough to make at least 500 new posts in the next week or so
C'mon keep the speed up

I heard that the 1:11.2 was actually the 'ring time, in the snow.

very positive article. one thing catched my eyes: tested 0-100 km/h: 3.5 sec (in wet !!!)

So let there be only one drop of rain, snow or dust - and GTR will be hard to beat...

Cheers, J
