After talking to Brian the other day, anyone that has joined the Stagea Owners Club beforehand, or who joins at the event, will be able to get more involved in the club. Becvause of numbers etc. we don't propose making a huge industry out of it but it's important we establish the club the right way, so this event will also be the Stagea Club's Innaugural General Meeting

Do we have any idea when the Membership packs are likely to go out?. Looking forward to the meet where ever it is.

i would be up for that weekend, i take it that the Stagea Club's Innaugural General Meeting means a break away from gtr.co.uk? or does it all still come under the same banner, i understand that the stag isn't seen by most as a gtr or a gtst but as a hybrid it is still skyline. not that i mind either way its just for parking at santapod that i ask?

The GTR Owners Club uses the GTR register for it's forum, the two are separate entities. The Stagea Owners Club use the GTR Register as its forum the two are separate entities. Thus the GTROC and Stagea Owners Club are separate also.
Anyone joining the GTROC will know what you get for your money: quarerly magazine, discounted events and track days. Discounted parts and merchandise and cheaper insurance. The Stagea Owners Club wont be able to achieve a lot of that as we don't have the numbers and producing a magazine with more pages than there are members hardly makes sense That said we wont charge the same to reflect this. The Stagea Owners Club, the GTR Register and the GTROC will work together for the benefit of all. for example when attending meetings, e.g. Japfest, we will be on the same stand as the GTROC, but hopefully put our cars at one end and group together. That way we can get the GTROC to do all the leg work for us I suspect that the Stagea Owners Club does wield a certain amount of influence at the very highest levels within the GTROC ![]()

lol, well thats a lot clearer now, thank you mr fuggles. not that it matters to me, i'm a member of quite a few clubs from the zclub.net to 4runner.org and even to my shame the z3 owners club. as far as a mag goes well i'm sure quarterly would be a bit much, maybe a bi annual would be better..lol. from what i see not much happens in the tuning or modifying world of the stagea, though i hope to change that a bit with gaz's help, am pushing for a vented bonnet, wide body etc before the end of the year, i've only had her for a month or so and already have big plans. just look at my gtst to know i can't leave a car alone for a second. once your have everything in place let me know if you need help etc and if i can i will.

I could be good for that date, providing nothing changes. Not sure the Mrs is into it though, although a mate has said he is so may just bring the kids!
Its an excuse to get away if nothing else!

Count me in to help out on the day, as for a more permanent role I am already chairman/editor for one club and have just narrowly escaped being voted onto another club's committee.......having already been threatened by "her indoors" along the lines of "don't you dare say YES" this sort of swung it for me
![]() However if you do go ahead with a SOC mag/newsletter I would be happy to contribute. ![]()

i had that speech from mine once when it was the zclub agm.. she won that round but i doubt after the chat we had the night we got engaged she'd do it again!
it was along the lines of "if you make me choose between you and my cars you better have your bags packed!" and yes even i'm suprised we're still together

I am quite fortunate that my wife is something of a petrol head, apart from nagging me to build her own "purple" Jago Geep so she could follow mine to shows she now drives a seriously lowered Honda S-MX (her choice) and has already done one Jap show with it!
When we were re-building the Jago I came home one day to find she had scraped and painted the chassis and was busy cleaning and painting up the front suspension ready for me to fit the polybushes...... ![]()

Food/drink coordinator means you have to find the shop, buy the food and drink, get it and bring it back. Not sit there and eat it all and drink it all.

Just to let you all know, one of the competitions at the event will be a competition to judge the best presented car and also the best turned out engine bay. It's for presentation and not a 'who's got the best body kit' comp. There will be prizes!!!!
