make some mounts for the 6x9's using some 1/2 inch mdf using the templates u get with the speakers so the speakers dont sit in direct contact with the metals as for the obvious that the is no good flat area to mount them there .

you can use an angle grinder for the bulk of opening the holes up in the metal but be carefull .

you will have to release the covering thats over the speakers thats on the inner side of the car but make sure not to brake it so for later u can put it back on so it all looks liks satndard still.

theres probably other ways but thats how i done it and spend some time doing it so it looks tidy.

Don't mess with the rear speakers anyhow.. Throw the stock ones in the bin, get some good ones for the front and be happy imo..

simple answer is no , not with out cutting as there is not enough rooom for the magnet to go back were there metal is on the door . ive fitted 6x9's in the front but you do have to cut metal away and make a support for the speakers to stay in place .

one of my previous posts i have gave some explaining about it , its a very tight fit and also depends on the different depths of the 6x9's you can get

Best replacement for stock speakers?

This is what my installer did. I'm not watching DVDs in 5.1, no rear passengers and if there are they'd not be in the car to listen to music. Put a lot of work into the front stage, and the trunk sub. Left the rear shelf speakers in but unconnected, just because it looks stock. Tuned time delay and frequency response for drivers head. Awesome!!

I need to post pics. I'm really happy with the result.
