As far back as possible, so they can't lift the bonnet and sneak something to it.
Don't put the pin on the front left corner of the cross member....95% of all alarm fitters put it there and the crims know this!! If you haven't got ABS, back right corner as you look at the engine.

I have a Toad siren next to the fuel filter on the drivers side inner wing. Its right out of the way down there, and the sound from it comes out from under the car. It also makes working on the car easier.

Found these pics i see that he has put the siren on the drivers side under the strut brace.
Is this a good place to fix it will it get in the way in the future when i do some mods to the engine bay? ![]() ![]()

Looks neat but that is where the brake master cylinder brace/bracket is fitted, If you have one. which you should.

I've also seen quite a few mounted around the air filters as there quite a bit of excess space there when you've got cones there..... (not where mine is tho).

Don't put it anywhere you can see it. Make it hard to see. Hard to find.
The point of the siren is for it to make noise to attract attention. I am a car dealer so I see a lot of alarm installs in cars. Tons of cars them have issues with the alarms , missing fobs, etc and go off for no reason. What I do is pop the hood, see the siren mounted somewhere easy ,and pull one of the wires. Its over and off in about 20 seconds. Think about that when you get it installed. The harder you make it to find, the longer it goes off. The longer that someone that wants to steal the car, has to work. Battery back up sirens are a good thing.
