Its in the mess of wires where the stereo would get power, you may need a converter for the aerial plug, as i know this is the case for us Aussies

I think that there's two antenna, one in the windscreen one in the rear screen. The connector is a funny little two pin thing. I think it's called diversity. You can get adapters to connect them to normal connectors. I may have a picture at home. I'll try to remember to have a look tonight.

My guess would be that the antenna it's connected to is knackered somehow. Either find the problem and fix it or try plugging the adapter in the other way round. You might have to remove the tab on the connector to make this possible.

I'd get a meter and test for continuity between one pole (pin) and each antenna. If one pin/antenna is open circuit then you have your culprit. If they are both OK then swapping the pins round (after removing the tab as mentioned above) won't help. I suppose then I'd start looking for bad earths or test the radio to make sure it's OK.

NB I'm assuming that you using a known good UK radio?

32's also have an aerial amplifier at the rear of the car which you need to connect your radios antennae-out too which is why your receptions crap at the moment. You'll find the wire you need to connect it to behind the radio.
