Bit of travelling but...

I went to Robinson Engineering - Hants and Dorset. They live and breathe engines. They carried out all my engine engineering work. They did the crank grinding as well as crack testing and balancing, the block pressure testing (for porosity) and the skimming of the deck and the relining/reboring (plateau honed) and the whole block dipped.

Luckily they're my mech's choice anyway but apparently they've got a major truck contract (Skania I think) as well as an MOD contract and are permanently busy which I reckon is all the proof needed. All of the above = ~£1500 including sending the crank for re-nitriding.

They will collect within 50mile which isn't quite W Sussex but at least I didn't give you the usual responses . Finally (and giving you a usual response anyway) Rising Sun Performance isn't too far from you presumably and they've got a great rep...and that is probably where I'll get my final map done after running in.

Happy hunting
Jen
