Oh dont get me started.....!!!

One minute mine's here July 09, then it's first week June 09 (I smiled for a week), now all I get is "sometime in July"....

WTF?? "Sometime in July???"

How come it takes 4 months to make a GTR yet their systems cant even say if my car is being made yet??

I reckon I'll just get a phone call in July saying "er....is thsi your car mate??"

I'm baffled!!

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and torque is how far you take the wall with you.

I've never even been given a fixed date, just "some time in June"
As for the helmet they can have it back if they want it...I'd look a complete t**t with a GTR helmet but no GTR anyway
I didn't ask for a recession to cut my salary for about 35% in the last year...and anyway I keep hearing that there is a 2 year waiting list. I'm sure that someone would take my car if it meant they could jump the list, so why should I be punished for it?
I am very disillusioned with the dealers and may seek legal advice if I don't get an answer soon (in the time since I requested cancellation I have not had one call from the dealers and every time I have contacted them they have changed their story)
Add that to the warranty issue and even if I come into money I don't think I'd buy it now

Mate, you would look a complete tw*t with that helmet on full stop!! Its hardly a great incentive to keep your order is it, a f*cking helmet!

On a serious note, let me know what Middlehurst say as I am seriously considering cancelling. It does piss me off the way they react to cancellations, like its your fault & your choice not to be able to afford it now

it's not just Nissan though.

as an aside, Panasonic recently told me delivery of the new Plasma range would be 6 weeks away.... and they turned up 2 hours later.

Pleased you are still getting one Marky ,I think if Nissan had released the GTR to the UK when the car was first produced then all the doubts and questions would not have surfaced ,well most of them would not have anyway .Other Countries getting the car and everyone here hearing about other peoples problems on odd cars etc has just made the waiting worse for the UK .people get scared /nervous etc, Human nature I suppose .It should have come early last year ,Nissan made a big mistake not getting it over here IMO.

If it had been delivered 6-7 months ago I'd have taken mine without question. The stories about warranty etc aren't what put me off, just the severe lack of money and other priorities now. Sometimes things just don't work out the way you'd like them too
