Well what can i say! OMFG!!

After an excited nut sleepless night, i woke at 6am , and waited for breakfast to be served, before setting off the 2 miles to MH with my friend in tow. Needless to say i arrived well before 9 in the end

And there she was already out the front in all her Red splended glory, pictures and seeing the car indoors do not do the color justice, but in the early morning sun i could have almost dived into the paint (i can't wait to see what it looks after detialing!)

So after much checking over with various micro fibres in hand and a torch for marks and scratchs, i was very happy that there was no major swirls, scratches or dents.

My count down timer had just gone off when Chris invited me in to do the paper work and of course hand over all the cash , then the breifing started.

It was like being in a operations room, the anticipation of getting out into the action building, before i new it,the keys were in my sweaty paws and she was all mine!!

Opening the door and climbiing in the drivers seat , the gorgeouse smell of new car aside, it felt like climbing into the cockpit of some manga mecha or the pilots seat of one of the Legio Titanicus machines of destruction. Running pre-systems checks and pushing the red start button, i could hear the hum of the reactor starting.

After the intial shock of just pulling away in the car and pinching myself a few times, there's already thumbs up and necks turning to see the car, off to the petrol station and then out onto the open roads. Keeping under the 3500rpm is so very hard but the torque upto then is just mad, i'd forgetton what it was like in the R34 and since the Silverstone day.

Out on the roads, you really do need all the screens and dash board computer set to show MPH as the speedo is all but useless in conveying how quick you are travelling!! The car is a like a large cat smooth and slinking but ready to burst into action at any moment.

Spent the next 4 or so hours working my way south laughing at the attention (and the old man idiot in a Mondeno that under took every one and cut me up just so he get in front of me!) bothered we were not!! (though i think the car was )

Off to a big BBQ and screening of a friends new movie and lots of rides around the city, still getting use to the size of her, but it's amazing how the car shrinks around you almost like a second skin. Looking forward to opeing her up a little and of course cleaning her.

Right parts fitting awaits! i've rambled enough and left the car for far too long already!! Pictures to follow soon.
