Give it time dave
![]() Holidays to get out of the way first, will be out late august & europeans in sept - just needs the numpty behind the wheel to drive it properly & i'm sure the times will be there ![]() Seat time, seat time, seat time needed & Rome not built in a day, plenty more power available but no point until we have a handle on the car & some form of consistency. Torque was well over 1000lbs/ft Rob

Delighted to have the car out for the recent European finals & just superb to have complete reliability the whole weekend, no issues & some great seat time to really start to get familiar with the car.
An awful lot of work has taken place behind the scenes over the last few months on the engine dyno to understand more & to test different things & to look at previous set ups & to take a view in relation to what we may want to change going forward etc. We started off on a very safe & very rich set up & ran 8.6, 8.2, 7.9. 7.8. 7.7. 7.6 & 7.3, 60 foot times improved to 1.05. Not running much boost at all & certainly not interested in throwing a pile of boost & bhp at it to get a one off 6 that can;t be repeated. Lot's of datalogging to now look at, lots of settings to review & a mountain of potential in the car that has us all very excited. We got to the comp eliminator final where i redlighted by 0.01 secs doh but thats life sometimes & proves i was trying :-) - all in all an awesome weekend. Huge thanks to Tony & Mark & the guys at Abbey who have bust a gut recently to get the car ready & the lads who crew who again did a superb job. ![]() ![]()

1.05, thats pretty good, how was the 1/2 track ET and MPH and 1/4 MPH on the 7.3? I'm picking 4.6 @ 150 and then 7.3 @ 183-185? Quote:
Best of luck mate, looks like mid 6s/200+ won't be far away. Robbie.

Cheers Rob
7.30 run - 1/2 track 4.7ish & 148ish from memory & 1/4 mph 186. something Mid 6's will be a while away yet as end of our season getting closer now - only 2 comps left both in next few weeks and already getting colder. (Jeff yes the car will run at japshow mate) Not great panic though & be cool to get consistency & reliability there also & hopefully times will follow. car was awesome ![]()
