To make it short,my 2 month old EU-GTR has a engine failure.....happend after a 300km/h+ run on the german autobahn,had no problems or noises with the engine even on the 2km after the full throttle run,then i was going on the exit of the autobahn and stopped the car on the next crossroad and had the car idling,after around 5 sec standing there the car developed a hard,loud knocking sound from one second to the other,really not a typical enginefailure like you would expect from lets say a conrod failure or a melted piston,it sounded more like a total loss of oilpressure from one to the next second.

There is absolutly no damage to the pistons,head or somewhere in that area,no smoke,nothing,engine ran fine at idle,but rattled like hell.

Nissan is not covering my failure due to the fact that i did not meet their warranty rules(noone will,they find excuses everywhere),so i have to chase my dealer now(after a 4 weeks wait till they told me my warranty is finally voided) to put a new engine on basis of the european buyers rights in my nearly new car.......here in Germany there is another GTR which has i believe the same failure....its Nissan´s own press car,knowing that it was with a enginefailure in Hamburg at the HPC and it had the same symptoms after the same full throttle driving...but they dont say anything about it,they are more friends of hiding under their warranty rules instead of doing a good customerservice...

I got a lot of info´s about the press car and on even more interesting things,which i cant say now as i can´t back it up....but im trying to get more data together,so if anyone knows a EU GTR from the first batch of cars(those with the chassinumbers till lets say JN1GANR35U0100500) that have arrived in europe,please keep me updated,i really appriciate it
